Peter Scupham was born in Liverpool. He was Head of English at St Christopher School, Letchworth. Together with his wife Margaret Steward he has restored a derelict Elizabethan Manor house in Norfolk, where they put on plays. His poetry collections include Borrowed Landscapes (2011), Collected Poems (2003), Night Watch (1999), Watching the Perseids (1990) and The Snowing Globe (1972).
