Sugar Ship
Because lonely with strawberries
she re-made herself from clay
Imagined ironing in the 1970s
Blue veins in the crook
of the stairs
Winter jackets swaying
bodily
on their axes
Objects there were none
The moon rose in a pinkie
The sugar ship sleeps
on a soft pillow
of artichoke leaves
Everything we need
is written
