The bed had a person in it.
The sun was climbing through warm mist.

It had been raining, now it was snowing.
The book on the table was wrapped in a bright flag of convenience.
Two small girls, dressed in blue and red nightgowns
were arranging the cards in the shape of a fat man
who seemed to be signalling desperately, -

'Over here! Over here! . . . You know me,
you surely must remember; we met on Thursday, -
