Jason Allen-Paisant

<strong>Jason Allen-Paisant</strong> is a Jamaican writer who lives in Leeds. A lecturer in the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies at the University of Leeds, he teaches and does research around cultural memory in the African diaspora. ‘Walking with the Word Tree’ is part of a book-length project that examines relationships between black existences and the woods.
