Thomas Kinsella
Thomas Kinsella resigned from Irish Department of Finance in 1965 for a career in poetry, and now lives in Philadelphia. He was made Freeman of the City of Dublin in 2005. His most recent collection is Late Poems (Carcanet, 2013); translations from Irish include the eighth-century prose epic Tain Bo Cuailgne. He is Editor, with translations, of the New Oxford Book of Irish Verse.
