David Spittledavid spittle is a poet and an academic, researching John Ashbery and Surrealism for a PhD at Newcastle University. He has written the libretti to three operas. His main interests move between cinema and poetry, drawing from surrealism to approach work frequently conceptualised as ‘experimental’.
