Federico García LorcaIn 1933 Federico García Lorca travelled to 'Our America', his term for South America. In Buenos Aires he encountered the Argentinian poet Alfonsina Storni, whose poetic portrait is included here. On his voyage home Lorca wrote the 'Gacela of Dark Death'.
Charlie Louth has translated Hölderlin's letters and is working on a book on Rilke. He teaches at Oxford University. Federico García Lorca's work featured in PN Review comprises two contributions of poetry, over a period of 18 years. Also available are three reviews of Federico García Lorca's work. |
