Letters to the Editor
Anthony Rudolf writes: I was pleased to read Colin Still’s generous, perceptive and instructive account of Michael Horovitz in PNR 261. One regret: there was no mention of the poet Inge Else Laird, a key figure in his life for quite a few years. She is well remembered by those who knew and loved her. Michael in an obituary note in the Guardian in 2011 evoked ‘the near ego-less purity of her aspirations and achievements’.

Peter Popham writes: Interesting editorial in no 261, just arrived. You seem on the verge of saying something. Then in the gnomic final paragraph you funk it. I think you owe Chimene and Co a more robust conclusion.
