After extremity
art turns social
and it's more than fashion
to voice the word we.
The epic yawp
hangs like an echo
of the big bang,
though now we tell children
to shun that original -
primal light, soaked green,
the slob mud
and a salt tang.
There is a ban
on philosophies of blood,
a terse demand
for arts and skills
to be understood,
and a common flow
into the new academy
which rules with a chill,
