Well, well, Brodsky, about skin;
about how grass grows on my lawn
more it’s cut, kind of redemption;
about how bloom of Oriental poppy
eats up light, glowing in it;
how cat, content, lies on rug
flat out, black and white,
tail arranged in elegant punctuation.

All in view saturated with seeing; 
seeing saturated with my being here.

two elegant, glass candle holders
