ALBUQUERQUE

Driving once more
on Central-though what
it is central to
now the town has spread

up to the foothills-
I caught one thing
out of the past that
still was there-

the Kimo Kinema
built in my birth year-
tile, fresco and cement-adobe-
style, tribal art-deco:

Corbusier
could scarcely have applauded
architecture so little tectonic
or so tawdry
