I have a third floor arched window on the Broadway
Looking East.
If the skies are overcast less light penetrates my room
And I'm able to sleep quite late,
Unless I'm woken by a particularly noisy lorry.

In the summer I get up early
To pull the curtains on deserted streets.
In winter I watch people going to work.
