All the rainfall of the last decade has definitely fallen.
On the other hand, something must be around here some-
   where or other.
Why does your privileged watch not keep a privileged time
   of its own?

I think I could sit reading your supermarket receipts for
   ever.
Look: exactly six months ago you bought exactly ten
   things.
Some of which had recently been dazzling movement in
   water.

In this photograph of you, there is only you and the sky.
Which is to say, only you and something not really so
   important.
And a white bird wheeling through it, presumably ecstatic.

Light, watery movements from the bath just through the
   wall.
