among rows of shell on shell:
trying to make
a chance. }}
Tap: just when I’m all hulled up
all crabbed in confine
comes your unexpected
crick and nap and crack,
smart sound of tough love
on my round nutshell,
the flex and squeezed pop
of steely hap-crackers
snapped on infinite space.

Your husky insinuations
tend to my shelly cave; 
you apply your callipers
and the heartnut aches.
