What you have seen
All these centuries,
Old moon,
Snide face!
And tonight, do you deign to attend
This diminutive event?

Tapping, tapping, like a blind man
The Daddy-Long-Legs comes.
Dipping and stitching, two dragonflies
Suture the water like a shroud.
