Changes Made

No longer care to be a flying squirrel
stretched to the limit
eyes wide open,
gliding fiercely while I forage,
tickled by the draft
on my creamy underside.

I’m going to change my furry grey
for a gossamer white
float serene as dandelion fluff,
rely on drag to slow my descent
with love before I fade away,
there’ll be some changes made today
