Stay a wide awake
with each of all
your hundred eyes
                  amazing:
each shot rod
is just so hot
and every dazzled cone
                  is blazing.

Don’t let the short-sights,
those over-lookers in.

You will be gaoler;
you will be him.
You can keep me, free
from irreversible trim.

Look, see, think in key:
I’m out on wing
in your gym, where
every enthralled gesture,
every turn of captivated
limb on limb and limb,
each fallen flower at my feet
