Shazea Quraishi

Shazea Quraishi was born in Pakistan, emigrated to Canada aged ten, and lived in Madrid before moving to London.  One of ten poets featured in the recent Bloodaxe anthology Ten, her poems have been published in the US and UK in anthologies and magazines including Modern Poetry in Translation and Magma.  She works as a translator and teacher of creative writing and literacy.
